Has good productivity features

Pros
This package has streamlined the ERD process to enable you to focus on your design as opposed to finalizing attributes too early. By avoiding the definition of keys, while making the relationships functional, the creators have eliminated a tedious, distracting, part of the process. The inclusion of a data entry facility and lookup table functionality, coupled with the use of Views is a real productivity boost. The quality of the drag and drop etc. is top notch.
Cons
I have little need for the SQL and interface methods generation features since my database engines are not supported, but those who use the supported engines should add their comments to be fair.
Summary
Although I had hoped to find a similar package as a web app, this desktop version appears quite capable and very easy to use.

Summary
This is a great tool for platform independent database design. I find the interface tools a bit wanting, but otherwise I would recommend this program.

Pros
Easy to create an ERD with entities, relationships, etc. Nice graphical interface. Generates textual documentation and DB scripts. Clean install.
Cons
Size of objects when diagramming methods/interfaces not adjustable, so can only get 3-4 on each page. Otherwise, no problems.
Summary
I used RISE to design an Oracle implementation for a community garden. Easy to create the ERD and enter details of entities and relationships. Creates formal documentation from the ERD.
