Used Pagemark XpsViewer for Mac?
Editors’ Review
The lack of native viewing programs for the XPS file format makes it difficult to work with for Mac users without additional software. For those willing to pay the $34.99 price and who use these files often, Pagemark Xpsviewer is a viable option for working with XPS files on a Mac.
While there is a free version of the program available for download, it only allows viewing of the first three pages of an XPS file. Those working with larger files will need to pay for the full version. Even for people using XPS files regularly, this seems to be a fairly expensive program, especially in light of its relatively limited purpose. After a short installation directly into the Mac Applications section, the program was up and running quickly and took up limited hard-drive space. While there were few instructions, Pagemark Xpsviewer's interface is easy to use for anyone familiar with PDF viewer applications. In addition to allowing Mac users to read XPS documents, the program also converts them into PDF files as well as a number of picture formats. While the program performs its limited function well, those limitations are the main drawback. You are not able to create XPS documents or convert similar formats, such as PDF, into XPS files for use.
While Pagemark Xpsviewer has all of the features necessary to view and convert XPS files easily, paying the full price may not be worth it for those who only work with these files occasionally.
