iTunes is a great, useful and free music player and organizer. It enables many non-iPod MP3 players to be used with iTunes. The project enables you to synchronize your MP3 player with an iTunes playlist automatically, or with two small mouse-clicks. Not everyone owns an iPod, though Apple certainly would have loved that. How great would it not be if I could synchronize my non-iPod MP3 player, my Play station Portable and my Walkman phone with my iTunes play list? Enter: iTunes Agent.

iTunes Agent is a small application resting in your system tray constantly looking for new MP3 players and other music capable devices connecting to your system. When a device it recognizes is connected to the system, it will create a play list for the device in iTunes and it will synchronize that list with tracks on your device. You may then modify this list, add and remove tracks, before you tell the iTunes Agent to synchronize the list with your player.

Pros
I wanted a way of using Itunes to synchronise my Sony Ericsson W995, quickly and easily, without having to use Sony's music manager. This does the job quickly and easily with no fuss.
Cons
A bit confusing to begin with, although on-line help is available. I couldn't get it to work until I had deleted all the music files on my W995. A tip I got off one of the forums. Files on your target device ( the W995 in my case) are deleted if they are not on the play list being synchronized, so if you specify the wrong target will have a problem! There is warning, and if you ignore it, whose fault is that?

Pros
Does exactly as it says. Will sync your android phone with whichever playlist you select (including your whole library.
Cons
It does require you to configure something before it will do anything. You must configure the program to recognize your device every time you plug it in. But once you get that figured out, you're golden.
Summary
I used to use HTC sync... and... well... it sucks. It'll occasionally undo the music section, so you would have to delete all music and re-sync. It was horrible. Now that I have this, it's as simple as plugging in (using hard drive mode for inspire), right-click this system tray icon and say "sync devices". Greatness.

None, this is a high risk program

This lousy program erased the originals of my itunes songs during the transfer to my droid. Now I can't find or play them anywhere.
Summary
Leave this program alone. The programmer says he's willing to help, but just wastes your time having you send config files, etc. with no real solutions. I'm out the $$ I paid for my itunes, just by trusting this stupid program.

Uninstalled from uninstaller executable located in the installed directory; it did this fine.

The mass storage device MP3 player was not connected to the computer at all, no way I want to test a Windows Xp on Windows 7and mess that thing up.

Pros
After some online research to figure out what I was doing, it synced my requested playlist quickly and easily.
Cons
It was difficult to figure out what they wanted in each preference. Something a little more GUI would be nice.
Summary
If you not afraid to do some minor online research to figure out what they want, it works easily and hasn't given me a problem yet.

Pros
This software works great to sync my Archos 605 with iTunes. Simply tell iTunes Agent which folder your device puts its music and iTunes Agent syncs your iTunes right to it! I think this would work with virtually any mp3 player. iTunes is a great way to organize music and it is very nice to be able to use it with more than just iPods(though I love my iPod too=])
Cons
The only bad thing is that my album art was not synced with the music, so if you have a player that supports this feature I'm not sure if it will work. There may be some way to fix this, but it's not too big of a deal anyway.
