Used NetJaxer for Windows?
Editors’ Review
NetJaxer is a unique browser that lets you create shortcut icons to your favorite Web sites, but unfortunately we encountered a few bumps along the way while using it.
The program installed a shortcut on our desktop, but clicking on it didn't doing anything. A reboot seemed to fix the problem, but we when we tried to get out and back into the program again, the same problem occurred. The interface is straightforward, with a tree-menu on the left that contains a large list of preset Web 2.0-related sites. You can search for a specific site or, using the tabs, you can search by the highest rated or most popular sites. Clicking on the link of your choice brings up a thumbnail of the site and you have the option of adding a quick-launch icon to your desktop or taskbar. We were able to easily choose an icon and the location of the shortcut. To round out the user-friendly features, we were also able to add our own URLs using an easy step-by-step guide. A simple click opened each shortcut in NetJaxers browser window.
The good overshadows the bad here. If you can get past the startup problem, this is a great Web tool to have on hand.
