Pros
You can take your time and learn at your own pace. I would recommend it to everyone.
Cons
I have no problems with it. The only thing I saw different it that you called the "root" word the "stem", but you do state that it is also called the "root". We just use "root" at school. Maybe it is a good thing to know after all !
