This little program lets you trim and normalize audio files, change the tempo or pitch, and strip out vocal tracks. The installation is fast, after which Mp3Doctor immediately opens an online tutorial. The software's main window is small for such a powerful program. All the processes happen rapidly. For example, you press the Karaoke button, select an existing file, then name the karaoke output track, and in seconds Mp3Doctor delivers. Some effects, such as Tempo and Pitch, automatically rename the output track, but most don't. There's no built-in player for checking the effects. The 20-use trial means you only get to try out 20 processes, not 20 sessions. It's annoying how the software pops up registration information before each action, warning you how many uses you have left. Also, the interface could stand more color and some tool tips. Despite its problems, the quality of Mp3Doctor's output should satisfy most music enthusiasts.
