KJam is a build tool like make. It is the fastest build tool available today. KJam can handle very large projects with tens of thousands of source files. It has the world's fastest dependency scanning, and can build a dependency graph for 40k source files in under one second. It has advanced features such as per-target viewpathing, a built-in sh-like shell, and C-like control flow.

Reduces MSVC build times by 2-5x compared to MSBuild or Gnu Make. Version 0.31 has show that on multi-cpu workstations KJam builds most MSVC projects 2-5x faster than MSBuild or Gnu Make. KJam can scan the dependency graph for 40k c++ source files in under 1 second.
