• CRAP!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY/NOT USER FRIENDLY/LIES

  You may eventually be able to create a form after you read the 136 page user manual.

  Cons

  Not simple at all and I know my way around form and document creating. You don't get over 800 templates as it advertises, not even close. Its just another money taking scam software site.

  Summary

  The user manual says NOTHING about the "over 800 professionally designed ready-to-use templates included" as stated clearly on the box. I had to search the web for over 30 minutes to figure it out. You have to click on File, then Open and then browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\FormTool 7\Forms. Here I found 12 categories with less than impressive form templates that would still take another hour editing and adding background/clipart. I also found that THERE IS NOT 800 TEMPLATES, I counted 107 on mine. It took me less time to create a form in Word with drop down boxes ( which I did not see the option of even putting drop down boxes in the Form Tool program anywhere) than to figure out where the so called bogus 800 templates were. Please don't waste your time or money on this. It shouldn't even be sold in stores like Office Depot, it's in the scam category for me. Not to mention you can't even get a hold of anyone, it states in the manual to contact via email or phone but wow here's a surprise...there is no contact info and good luck finding it on the site either, that in itself is a BIG RED FLAG...its junk. I wish I had bought this online instead of the store because I would have definitely disputed the charge and got my money back.

  Pros

  We have automated over 20 of our office forms, and formtool has been fantastic. We have even posted forms to the web for data collection with our customers and prospects. This has helped us keep in-touch with customers, and minimize the clerical effort in the process.

  Cons

  We wanted the pdf import and pdf publishing option so we upgraded to the professional version.

• Very easy form design and data entry

  Pros

  It was great not having to use a designer to produce a good looking forms that I could use for sales orders, packing lists and invoicing. On top of that I am very pleased at how easy it is to capture data in these forms and save to our database.

  Cons

  I had to hunt to find the templates.
