"Handy little util to change ip configs."

Pros

Fast IP Changer allows me to switch my wireless config from my offices manual configuration to automatic, (DHCP), assigned IPV4 configuration for WIFI at the coffee shop. It even allows you to keep multiple static configs for other offices.

Cons

There is a startup flash screen that warns you that you must run as Administrator and it must be acknowledged every time. The program window starts flashing when the curser is in the "NAME" input box, annoying but not a problem.

Summary

This util is a must have for anyone that has to change IP addresses from manual (static) address to another and or from manual (static) to automatic (DHCP) IP address. It works with any and all Windows network adapters.

I just thought that I would add that the other posters probably did not run the program as Administrator. To do that you must right-click on the program icon and select "Run as administrator".

It might be nice if the next version automatically elevated then Windows would warn the user that the program was trying to run as administrator.

Not only did the product not work, it screwed up my settings so I could connect until I manually went in and repaired the damage.
