  Here is what is still good: 1. Supports multiple monitors. 2. Plenty of configuration options. 3. Mostly it works and does not cause any system crashes.

  Cons

  1. Screen saver causes open windows to collect to current window. 2. Most Java apps freeze-up when move to window on another display. 3. Scarce releases & you get no support. 4. Some apps have child windows open in other desktop.

  Summary

  This used to be the best virtual window manager that I could find but seems to have been neglected for the past several years. I have used the enable virtual desktop manager for over 10 years but now am forced to switch to another desktop manager. I have put up with screens all collecting to one screen when screen saver came on but having Java apps freeze up and require restarting was too much. I submitted both problems to the company along with all the information they want included but never heard anything back. The FAQs and tips did not mention either problem. Their FAQ also mentions a problem with Vista and says "We are working on fixing this." Vista has been released since Jan 2007 so its not likely they are really working on a fix.

  Most negative comments - are not founded --this program is VERY customizable... all the complainers, just go to PROPERTIES and change what u want to change! Lamers!

  Default Hotkeys are inconvenient and absolutely should be changed if you're doing alot of word-processing --CTRL + Arrow keys - NOT good... Again, all of this stuff is CUSTOMIZABLE!! i love this thing. Also, if you drag a window over the edge of the screen, half of the window is in one desktop and half in another.. truly like a laptop with monitor plugged in. -- personally i dont like it, and have not seen where in properties this could be changed (then again, i'm only playing with it for 2 hrs sofar)..

  Ok, first of all: TRAY icons? Of all the possible ways to organize desktops, they choose tray icons? Second: There's no need to define the NUMBER of desktops I want, just the kind of applications I want to open in a new desktop. I don't need 8 desktops all the time, only when I have 8 different applications open. Why can't anyone understand this? The number of desktops has to be dynamic, not fixed. This is useless, as most other "virtual" desktop applications I've ever seen for Windows. Why can't anyone do it right?

  This is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, Clean, very customizable. It can be adapted to my needs and it works. Very fast. Leagues avove all the others out there, and I've tried over 10 different Virtual Desktop utils
