A basic program that guides you through the process of backing up or restoring vital information on a computer, Eazy Backup unfortunately isn't as easy as it should be. The introductory main window includes buttons that offer options for backing up, restoring, or updating files. A step-by-step wizard walks you through the process of restoring or backing up files, choosing files, and choosing when to complete the action. We also liked the ability to back up Outlook, IE, and Firefox files. The program can even back up Registry keys. If you want to restore and back up files in the same session, however, you're out of luck. We found Eazy Backup can only complete one operation at a time; if you want to return to the introduction menu, you have to restart the program. Overall, Eazy Backup is a reliable backup program, but it doesn't allow enough flexibility to merit a better rating.
