It allows you to record in whatever format you desire, allows you to change encoder options for each format. Can limit frame rate. Can record any part of your screen or all of it, you can set custom dimensions. Lets you record from network or a webcam. Can add watermarks, text, and adjust or apply video effects. Set custom hot keys.
Cons
Strictly recording software. If you want to edit your video afterwards, then you have to use separate software or purchase editing software from the same company. If you reformat your PC and lose your software key, then you get to have fun contacting customer support for it.

Overall it's great, very handy tool indeed. Was well worth their asking price. Plenty of options to mess with.

None. This is bait and switch software.
Cons
Installs other programs and hijacks file associations without permission. Even dipped into my Adobe Master Collection of apps and forced programs like Audition and others to take it as default editor. SHAMEFUL! Also converts itself into "DEMO" mode after being offered as freeware. Demo mode means "can't save work".
Summary
DO NOT INSTALL unless you want to spend an hour cleaning your system of this piece of junk.

I love this app. It has saved me so much time and money!!! I do have two items on my wish list, though: a way to stop recording WITHOUT blocking it, AND "invisible mode", where the entire recording area wouId be visible WITHOUT the program blocking it (and being recorded OVER it), Other than that, it works perfectly. Well worth the money!
Cons
Same as above. The smallest mode besides minimize, where you can't DO anything, is still huge and blocks too much of my screen. Plus, ti records itself on top of whatever you're trying to record! That's NOT cool, but, it doesn't really affect me much, other than being annoying. However, if I was recording video to show to OTHERS, it would be a dealbreaker: I'd be looking elsewhere.

It suits my purpose just fine, recording live streaming events for personal use. I don't mind if sometimes the program obscures the video for a few seconds...BUT, if you're recording video that others will see, look elsewhere for software.

I want to record webcam footage in a format/resolution/compression ratio of my choice, with a time stamp. It does want all that with no fuss.
Cons
Can't set it to put a time stamp on automatically, I have to set it every time.

Driver corrupted computer to point of blue screen of death showing up 3 times... plus they claim it's free for home users...but that's not true. After you use it once they insist on your upgrading to paid....so screwing up your computer and lying? Really bad idea...

I'm a computer professional. I saw the post about "Danger! Danger!" and chuckled. Then I installed the program. I AM NOT LAUGHING NOW! This software took out my OS. I had to go back about a month to get a good copy without damage. Make sure you have a backup, you WILL need it! Once I uninstalled it there were still hooks in my system as I could get no other video software to run, they all said something else was running. Yea... THIS MESS! So, avoid it!!

After download of free as advertised for home use it will not allow to capture anything. Screen is blacked out and info is displayed to buy. This tricks are used for almost all software by this company from Australia. Some allow to use limited use but still do not keep whole period of "free trial". Complains to that company are ignored completely.

Shameful company continue this tactics throughout whole their existence on internet. Find others from North America at best.
