This program provides auditory feedback to help users overcome stuttering problems, but its ability to improve your speech is up to you to evaluate. DAF/FAF Assistant for Windows' mundane interface offers little guidance on usage, but a help file is included in the download. Sliders let you easily set the audio playback delay in milliseconds, shift the frequency (or pitch of your voice), and adjust the volume. Hit Start, begin speaking into a microphone, and you'll hear your voice with the appropriate adjustments made. Unlike some speech programs, this one doesn't automatically record your voice. Given the application's purpose, we can't vouch to its efficacy, but you only have seven days to determine if this speech-therapy program actually works for you.
