When iTunes doesn't help, use this

It downloads the latest iphone drivers and installs them without itunes It made my iphone recognized correctly on my comptuer Works out of the box and its free.
Cons
the only big con out there is iTunes, nothing to say for this app tho
Summary
My iPhone was detected as a camera on my PC and not as an actual phone. I couldn't add music or sync it or do anything with it on my computer. I had the latest version of iTunes installed and that obviously didn't help. I found this, installed the iod drivers only and voila! The iPhone is recognized as an iPhone. I bet Mac users don't have to go through all these loops!

A true panacea i cannot explain why but it worked. Ever since I updated iTunes, my PC stopped recognizing my iPhone 5s. I used the drivers installer to get the iphone drivers on my PC and VOILA my iPhone is back.
