This freebie helps you quickly erase some aspects of your Web-surfing traces, but its powers are clearly limited. Cookie Monster II's interface is basically a system-tray icon that allows you to get rid of cached Internet Explorer files and cookies via a simple right-click. But the program can't even delete typed URLs, so you'll still have to access IE's built-in privacy tools to be truly protected. The application lacks a whitelist for cookies, though you can choose to only erase certain ones via a list. But unlike full-featured privacy suites, this one doesn't support the cleaning of alternative browsers or third-party apps, and it cannot shred files. New users might benefit somewhat from Cookie Monster II, but most other folks should stick with a more robust program.
My Avg 2011 see's it as a Trojan. Did a search and it seems there is some Trojan out there with a similar name. Is it a mix up or ???

Pros
It didn't crash my machine. Other than that, it has no redeeming value.
Cons
It pretends to allow you to delete cookies separately, or in groups, by selecting individual cookies and selecting delete, but this doesn't work. The cookies remain. The ONLY thing that works is deleting ALL cookies. This can be accomplished very simply through the Explorer itself. It is hard to imagine why download.com allowed this software on their site.
Summary
It's good and average.

Pros
Give this product 4 stars because its average and good enough for cleaning cache and cookies. For normal and basic users after browsing or while broswing that u can open it on stray simply right click on the cookie and choose delete cookies/cache. And it did really works to clean up cookies and cache.
Cons
Another good one it's free as well which is iTsystem wiper, and which is more functions compared with cookie monster.

For it's purpose it achieves everything.

Pros
This program works a dream for the user wanting to either remove all their cookies or remove most and leave the few they trust on their hard drive. The options and interface are clear and it's a quick and smooth process. Excellent and full options for a free piece of software.
Cons
This isn't a con of the actual piece of software itself - but a valid point anyway: unless your only requirement in cleaning up your harddrive and protecting your privacy is to remove cookies then it is much more worth your time to get an all in one as many all in ones have exactly the same cookie options alongside their other utilities. HOWEVER, for it's purpose cookiemonster does not actually have any major flaws at all, and is an excellent program in my opinion.

Well, I don't know what the heck the negative feedbackers are talking about. This program deleted all of the cookies on my computer in one click. It's really fast and easy to use, too. All ya gotta do is right click it in the tool bar (bottom right hand corner of the screen) while you are browsing, choose "open cookie control box" and then you click "Delete all cookies". And...*drumroll*...all cookies are out of your computer.
Not very good

Summary
I've tried all the freeware to delete cookies out there, as far as I can tell and ecleaner was the one that deleted all my cookies except 4 my Tempory Internet Files and the recycle bin. The Cookie Monster II didn't even come close. It only deleted 1/4 of all my cookies. All I want to say is, Finally I can say this(to the manufacturers): why Bother making something if it Doesn't work - you are Really Wasting Our TIME - its Really Hard to keep up with LIFE - never mind downloading something that just Doesn't Work!!
Scan and delete your cookies and Internet cache.Cookie Monster II places a small cookie next to your computer's clock and whenever you wish to delete your cookies or cache simply right-click the cookie and select from the menu. You also can manage your cookies (only deleting the ones you don't want).
