Used CalendarPal for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This application helps you log important dates, view weather forecasts, and create reminders and to-do list on a monthly calendar, but the demo period is a bit short. CalendarPal's skinnable interface is dominated by a large, scrollable calendar flanked with a side toolbar on the left side, which you can use to easily switch between features, including weather, reminders, and a to-do list. Standard holidays are shown on their respective dates and you can add your own, edit, or delete them for personalization.
Unlike Windows calendar, this one displays weather forecasts based on a specific geographical location and gives advisories, e.g. urban and small stream flood, as well. We like that the weather information automatically updates at a user-specified interval, and users can even choose what weather information to show on the system tray icon.
CalendarPal isn't exactly a scheduling application, but it lets you easily create recurring monthly and annual events. The program worked well during testing, and the only thing that disappointed us was the short 15-day trial period. Overall, CalendarPal's functionality makes it useful for home and business users alike.
