BurnAware Free completely handles any burned disc, whether you need music, a movie, or something much more complicated. It does it with a straightforward interface and even lets you start from scratch with its deletion feature. This program is far superior to any burner that only handles just one or two types of discs.
BurnAware Free burns discs of plenty of different varieties, including DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays, and even boot discs. No matter which style of disc you're trying to make, you can find it with ease, thanks to the program's clean graphic interface. While it doesn't look all that creative, the interface makes the program remarkably easy to use for someone new to the process. BurnAware Free even lets you erase a used disc so you can turn it into something new. The program isn't remarkably fast or slow; it took us about six minutes to burn a CD and about 45 minutes to create a DVD disc. That could change if you have a faster drive or computer, obviously. The program's install process tucks an AVG toolbar into the download and tries to make itself the default action for your computer's autorun prompt, so make sure you uncheck those if you don't want them.
This program is worth the download just because it erases burned discs. The fact that it can burn just about any type of disc you would need is a major bonus. BurnAware Free is very close to a must-have utility for anyone who burns discs regularly.
BurnAware Free is a full-fledged, easy-to-use, free burning software which allows users to write all types of files such as digital photos, pictures, archives, images, documents, music and videos to CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. With BurnAware Free, you also will be able to create bootable or multisession discs, high-quality Audio CDs and Video DVDs, make and burn disc images, copy and backup discs.
NONE!!!! Do not use this piece of garbage. Wish I could give it a MINUS 10!
NOTHING! It didn't burn a CD from .WMA files completely, and there were errors on all 3 of the CDs that I tried. Errors popped up and at least 6 files out of ... 12 (?) did not play.
Not only that, but all my Firefox web browser defaults were completely messed up. It replaced it with default of "BING' as my Home Page, so I had to redo for my own browser defaults.
Couple questions for CNET:
Doesn't CNET check this stuff out? Why is this garbage allowed on CNET?
When I looked to see if there were any Reviews, it showed ZERO reviews! Only when I clicked on Reviews (unfortunately AFTER I already downloaded and tried it), then I saw what others had written about this piece of garbage.
CNET is really getting to be a whore - getting paid to put stuff like this out without a bad review.
And it is most annoying to have that Popup that tells you, every time about Free Software, and it doesn't go away, but remains on the screen. PLUS their video that's very tiring, time after time...
Stay away from this piece of garbage... (I'm being nice - there's other 4-letter words!

constant error codes on 3 different computers from Windows XP thru 10; not for me or even a recording studio engineer!
Because I never let my ego get in the way of thinking that I could never make a mistake, I've asked 5 different people (including recording engineers and software designers) to try to get this program to work on 3 different ASUS laptops and this program ONLY destroyed discs during recording and gave errors claiming "incompatible file format." Meanwhile, other programs burned the files without issue.
