• Fine basic player, good for non-HDCP screens (as VGA)

  Pros

  It works fine with my discs and the most important for my PC - it allowed playback on screens without HDCP, like my VGA connected HP display (as example, the PowerDVD didn't play the Blu rays on my PC, because of that).

  Cons

  No chance to use the original Blu ray menus. It only shows its own simplified menu for the basic settings (audio, subtitles etc.). If you use unregistered copy, you'll have a permanent watermark in the centre of the screen (which is reasonable, considering that all of the Blu ray players are paid for versions).

  Summary

  Good option, if you have PC with old video connection. Definitely, pros are more than cons. Unfortunately, if you want the same experience, like the stand alone Blu ray player (for the telly), it's good to compare with something else, before spend the money.

  It plays blu ray discs. 80% of the time.

  Cons

  Cannot display the official blu-ray menu. Need to find a different chapter, episode, or special feature? Good luck. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to find what your looking for. The menu is absolute rubbish. Subtitle function only works when it feels like it, which is rarely. Some discs don't play at all for some inexplicable reason There is no fast forward function, only next and previous chapter. Tried holding it down which usually works in most cases. No dice. You CANNOT FAST FORWARD OR REWIND, but have to blindly click on the track, hoping to find your place. Customer service claims 30 day money back guarantee. Contacted them twice within 30 days, never heard anything, certainly did not receive a refund. Any one of these problems on their own would be tolerable, but altogether, makes this software worth avoiding. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

  Not even remotely worth the trouble. Look elsewhere.

  When you do download this from the site, although it does not have malware, it leaves a stupid message in the middle of the screen saying it's an unregistered version. I'm going to go somewhere else and pay since they tried to draw me in like that. You can keep it Aurora

  THE BLU RAY PLAYER DOES COME IN THIS PACKAGE OF CRAP, IT DOES ACTUALLY WORK AURORA IS A FINE PLAYER.

  Cons

  THIS CAME WITH A CRAP TON OF MALWARE AND ADD ON SOFTWARE, SOMETHING IN THIS PACKAGE BLOCKED MY ACCESS TO THE INTERNET AND I ENDED UP HAVING TO RESTORE MY WINDOWS!!

  Summary

  DOWNLOAD THIS DIRECTLY FROM AURORA, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS PACKAGE FROM HERE, IT IS FULL OF MALWARE!!

  Don't know deleted immediately.

  Cons

  Program install also tried to install malicious programing not related to product. Tried to hijack my home page and was blocked from fully installing by my pc protection.

  Summary

  In short I don't like when 3rd party software is hidden within other programming and there for don't trust this program or it's company so it will not be allowed on my machine. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DOWNLOAD!

  Pros

  I use it to play some of my recorded movies, the deniterlace function is useful for some of them.

  Cons

  Can not deal with the BDMV folder directly.

  Summary

  Deal with HD movies smoothly, plus the Blu-ray playback feature, it is worth to have.

  It just works fine as for now on my Windows 7 Ultimate.

  Cons

  I log in with a guest account and the tool ask me to register again. Is this normal?

  Summary

  It is simple to handle, play my Blu-ray collections well except the poor navigation panel.

  Pros

  it allows me to enjoy the main movie of a Blu-ray disc just as my old PowerDVD did before. The only pity is that it can not deal with the original Blu-ray menu, only the simple menu available. For the long-term consideration, the price is very satisfied.

  Cons

  no original BD menu

  Summary

  Works fine, hope the full menu will be updated in the future version.

  Pros

  There is no limitation of Blu-ray region code, i play the disc sent by my foreign friends without any difficulty. It also can deal with DVD and HD movies smoothly.

  Cons

  no 3D function and BD menu now

  Pros

  No complicated operations, just insert the disc and the tool will read automatically. Deal with the Blu-ray media directly and playback the popular HD media formats like MKV, M2TS, MTS, TS, etc.

  Cons

  the online playback function should be improved

  Summary

  I like it, hope it can be updated with more Blu-ray features.
