Cons
Didn't work for me. I selected the .ape file, it accepted it; I selected the .cue file, it found it but didn't fill in the appropriate field in the dialog box, nor did it let me proceed.

Friend sent me a APE music file. Wanted to convert to MP3. Simple, straight-forward, i think. APE Convert would NOT let me convert file without a cue-sheets file ??? I can get the file to play just fine in WMP and dont have a problem anywhere else. But, APE convert INSISTS on having a cue-sheets file, and will not do anything without it. Also, whats with the UGLY green/white slant window dressing. Programmer spent WAY to much time making stupid colors and windows buttons and not enough time making a functional program that worked.

I don't see the point. There are lots of audio formats that work fine and are free, so why come up with one you have to buy? I'm not sure what it is doing but it doesn't like files being moved or renamed (genres etc), won't let me have long sub directory lists etc, all of which are crucial to accurate file management. I think it smells of a Microsoft worker - does what it's supposed to but ... regards

Ape Ripper is an ape music CD image (ape+cue) file ripper which can split big ape music CD image (ape+cue) file to separate mp3 files or other format audio files including wav, ape, vox, g726, and g723. Ape music CD image (ape+cue) is a compress digital music file which is compressed from a music CD, all the tracks are packaged to a single compressed image file. With Ape Ripper, you can extract all or part of tracks from the ape music CD image (ape+cue) file and convert them to separate mp3 files or other format audio files. A cue file is required to split the ape file, the cue file contains the information of every track in the ape file. Features: * Easy to use, you only need to select an ape file and a cue file. * Export file in mp3, wav, ape, vox, g726, g723 format. * Supports mp3 ID3v1 and ID3v2 tag.
