• Made me angry trying to connect the dots.

  Simplefies mixing faces.

  -Connecting the dots on faces has an annoying auto-correcting function that is extremely f-ing annoying and you can not turn it off. -Very few settings.

  Summary

  As said, connecting dots made me angry, move 1 dot and the every dot automaticly moves out of place. Wouldn't buy such a piece of sh** software.

• Makes great morphs after some training

  * very nice quality morphs even if quality of the source pictures is low * users can customize settings in many different ways (e.g. number of delineation dots, size/color of the output morphs) * even with fewer delineation dots the morph quality is nice * easy adjustment of how much percent each image file contributes to the morph in terms of texture and shape

  * not very intuitive at the beginning * not easy to know were delineation dots should be set for beginners * errors when one of the original source pictures is changed or deleted

  Summary

  The first time I downloaded FaceMixer as a trial version I did not like it. I had to specify 112 dots for delineation and did not know where to exactly put them. This was time consuming and as I misplaced some of them the final morph quality was not satisfactory. So I put the program away and forgot about it. I tried alternatives but was not satisfied. Once again I looked at Abrosoft Face Mixer some weeks later. By chance I discovered that you can easily indivually set the delineation points in an option called "Face Model", so I reduced them to around 30. Now setting them was much quicker and in the face model option it was shown where to put the dots. I also disabled the automatic adjustments of dots when you change one of them (you can easily do this by pressing "Shift") as it is quite confusing. The final morph quality convinced me, it barely reduced even though I used fewer points. The morphs often look better than the originals. So I bought the full version. Morphing 10 images takes about 10 minutes which is ok. I even tried to use it with low quality face pictures (e.g. very old photographs of the 19th century) and the morph quality is surprisingly good! If you recolor them you barely see that the final morph is made by old pictures in the end. So what I would recommend: See the "Face Model" option, specify the delination according to your personal preferences (you can use much fewer dots), press "Shift" before delination and play around a bit with the program and you will be surprised. What I still don't like: If you change one of the source files the program gets with errors instead of simply asking you to redelinate the altered picture (which would be much easier). I hope this gets fixed in future versions, then (and if the program gets more intutivie) I will give 5 stars instead of 4.
