AKS Dup Finder locates duplicate words within lists, though it's difficult to pinpoint its usefulness. As a small executable, this program lets you paste a list of words onto its mind-numbingly dull interface. It quickly lists any recurring names on the list. Unfortunately, it only works with plain-text lists and can't pull duplicate words from paragraphs. We would like to insert specific keywords to track down, but it can't do that either. The program does offer free registration to activate its statistics feature. The extra step of registering is a hassle, but the program gives additional information such as the number of items on your list, the number of recurrences, and the percentage rate of duplicates. AKS Dup Finder's limited features are pretty disappointing. It's free of charge, but it probably won't appeal to most users.
