• It Is Nice But It Lacks Some Features:

  Pros

  I have used this before 2 years ago. I have downloaded a rare film but meeded the subtitles to it. It was published onto YouTube but the subtitles weren't attached to the video. They were a separate file. 4K was able to download the subtitle version. Otherwise I have used DAP but DAP crashes many times and I was wondering if there was a way to just download the entire channel and be done with it. It is a lot better to download the video because of Buffering problems, and every ISP seems to be throttled. I also downloaded a channel which has DashCam videos of various highways and cities. This is VERY helpful to me whenever I meed to travel but I have not been there before. Watching the videos makes the new area more familiar. It is so much easier to download the channels instead of click on each and every video. It may take a long time for it to gather all the videos available to download, but it is mostly automated. So far I am very happy with 4K!

  Cons

  You can't save in .WEBM format so I really want them to add this feature to be able to save in .WEBM! Also, I want EVERY format, in EVERY resolution. Instead of a Select One option box, they should have check boxes with Select All at the top, to be able to download all resolutions, AND also all file types. All at the same time. This will save even more time be cause I don't have to go back and regather the same links again.

  Summary

  This is not free. They want to pay like 20 dollars or something (but it is "discounted" to around 10 USD for it to do any thing). With the unlimited version (the only version) they give you unlimited access to Subtitles and you can download the entire youtube channel. They say it is for three computers and they say it includes a lifetime of updates. I hope so. Be cause DAP said the same thing and they lied.

• The Best Youtube Downloader in the Market

  Pros

  I've been looking for a video downloader that can download playlists for a long time until I finally found my solution. When downloading, it can automatically convert the files to an MP4 format and it even allows you to download subtitles or Youtube video annotations and convert them to SRTs if they are available. I can just paste a link to a playlist and I can set the program to automatically number the files to keep the order of the videos, and save the videos into a folder. It even allows you to paste a link to a channel to download every single video uploaded by a user. The installation was quick and free of any junkware. The app itself is incredibly small, having a clean interface and zero clutter. Every bit of the software feels light and incredibly responsive (unlike the half a dozen other downloaders that I've tried). Everything just works. All I need to do is paste a link, choose my video quality, and let the program do its thing.

  Cons

  There's really no cons that I can think of. It's a mean to get what I need and it does its job well.

  Summary

  It is really everything that you can expect from a downloader. Everything just works. If you're tired of web downloaders that forces you to download videos one-by-one, look no further. This is the downloader that you're looking for.

  Pros

  I like the Simple and Clean interface of this downloader and the ability to pause and resume downloading. Another thing I like is - when you are in hurry you can leave the video as postponed. On top of all these features my favorite is Smart Mode, in this mode you don't have to select the downloading quality again and again. You can also extract audio from YouTube Videos.

  Cons

  I haven't faced any problem using 4K

  Pros

  It lets you download videos at least at 1080p. It seems to give you a good number of choices as to resolution size. It scanned as no virus/malware with Sophos. It didn't install any toolbars on any of my browsers. Revo Uninstaller found no Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) installations, AVG Tuneup also found no PUP installations, and MalwareBytes found no PUP installations. The video quality was good, and, unlike Freemake, the app I've used for the last 2 years, it doesn't add an advertisement for the app at the end of the downloaded file.

  Cons

  It does nag you to donate when you close the program. There is a button that says activate, then a button to click that opens a place for the license key, then a button to click to "get a license key" which opens a place to buy it from the 4kdownload.com website. ($10 on sale for 2 weeks, lifetime license for 3 computers, by paypal or credit card.)

  Summary

  To be fair, I've only had it installed for a short time. But it does seem to do the trick. I don't know if it will get more aggressive in asking you to buy or donate, the way some demo apps do. I don't see any evidence that it is crippled in its demo form. I did not download this from CNET. I went to the actual 4kdownload.com website and downloaded directly from them, so I have no idea if CNET is hosting a file that has been compromised.

  All the fake positive reviewers are covering the real one which happen to be negative that containing malwares. I just wise download.cnet test all their apps before releasing it to the public.

  Does download videos from youtube in 710p, 1080p, 2K.

  Does not download in 4K. It starts the download then stops after a few seconds.

  Summary

  For something called 4K video downloader, I was expecting it to be able to download 4K videos.

  This is definitely in the top 10 programs I have downloaded. Finally a good YouTube video download program that does not install unwanted software or does anything bad with my computer!
