This add-in gives Solid Edge the ability to import geometric data from 3DS files. 3DS Import for Solid Edge reads polygon mesh data stored in 3DS files and imports it into Solid Edge. 3DS Import for Solid Edge creates trimmed planar surfaces for each triangular face and knits them together to create a body. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
