This is a great standard version 3D IGES(.igs or .iges format) model viewer for iPhone. IGES format ( Initial Graphics Exchange Specification ) is a vendor neutral data format that allows the digital exchange of information among CAD, CAE, CAM, PLM, MCAD systems. It is widely supported by almost all 3D applications including CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, NX, ProE (PTC Creo, ProEngineer), etc. With help of this app, you can view your 3D model anywhere you want, no matter you are at home or traveling abroad.The app provides many 3D features including rotating model with finger movement, zooming in/out, panning, changing color, changing light intensity, etc. You can also choose to display it in shading model, or wireframe mode. The app supports loading multiple models at the same time so that you can view them together. It is extremely helpful when you want to compare your data sets to make sure everything works correctly. You can also use the app to figure out basic dimensions of your model, for instance, the length along x, y or z direction, total surface area, total volume, etc.The app supports rendering 3D objects on top of different background, for instance, you can change background color, make it transparent or use an image as background. You can choose any image to be the background image. For instance, you can use model environment image, or your company's logo.The app also provides you strong 3D data exporting capability.
