3D Flash Animator gives you everything you need to create Flash animations and games for Web pages. Includes vector graphics with gradients, textures, 3D effects and shadows, buttons and animated menus. 2D and 3D text with loads of text effects and transitions including motion blur. Develop games with velocity and acceleration. Includes advanced features such as complete Flash MX action scripting and 3D animation. After 7 day trial, unable to export Flash animations.

Version 4.9 is faster, more reliable, uses less memory, and fixes the bugs from previous versions. It has an improved interface and offers many more features.

Easy, Intuitive, Brilliant

Pros
1. Easy to use: if you examine the samples/example files, then you start to get the architecture of a 3DFA file, and how to set yours up. Once I got it, only after an afternoon, I was off and creating my animations. There were a few goof ups, until I really understood it. 2. Intuitive: Once I understood it, it was very very easy to create a complicated interactive animation. 3. Brilliant: The animations I was able to create, a sort of do-it-yourself adventure (but not as exciting since it was architectural illustration) was so easy to do in 3DFA, but nearly impossible to do with Koolmoves or Adobe (or rather, it would have taken me days or weeks to figure out in those programs). Out of all the flash software I downloaded over the last few months 3DFA was by far the easiest and most relevant to my work.
Cons
1. Hasn't been updated in years...and I don't know if that means that the producer(s) of the software are going to forget about it...I hope not. 2. For each purchase, you only get two registration numbers. This might sound acceptable, but you should know that if you buy a new computer, then that means you need a second registration number. Or if you have to do a factory restore (like I just did), then you've got to request your second registration number. What this means is that if they ever go out of business, then you're pretty much screwed from ever using it again (if you get a new computer anyway).
Summary
It is an amazing piece of software, for the price, and can do some really fun and exciting things. I found it incredibly easy, and intuitive, and I'm not a coder or programmer, I'm a 3D guy.

You can't use a lot of those options, because there's no explanation on how to use them.
Summary
The application looks nice and colorful. But the learning curve for using the software is very steep, and the developers did a very poor job of explaining some of the most basic functions of the app.
Decent application for creating canned flash effect

Pros
Once you get it installed, the sw is fairly straight forward. The package graphics are 8-10 years old.
Cons
Real hassle getting the right passwords from vendor to install licensed version. Creativity is limited.

Pros
The program itself is really cool, it has so much potential, but unless you are somewhat familiar with what all the options mean starting out, then it's just one confusing window after another. I would have loved to have kept exploring it & figuring it out but it only has a 7 day trial limit - way too short of a time for me to finally figure out how to use it & then actually have fun creating things with it.
Cons
One more frustrating thing, it didn't work well with my Vista Premium, it ran very slowly & kept "not responding" & making my computer freeze up. After only 2 days of having it installed I ended up uninstalling it because it was just too time consuming & frustrating. If it had a 30 day trial period I would have kept it because I wouldn't have felt that frustrating "rush" to get the hang of it, I could have just taken my time & enjoyed it - I might even have decided that I couldn't live without it & bought it. Note to the Developers: For the next version please offer a 30 DAY TRIAL PERIOD - PLEASE!

A really good program for anything. <p>You can make games, vid's , and much more!

only 2,When you save a project it's saved, you cant re-open it so make sure your DONE when your done.. <p>and another thing, it is cheep, i love that but it doesnt have as much features as flash mx and such...it just doesnt have that feel of acomplishment when you buy an extreamly overpriced program and create something incredible with it..

Fairly simple to to basic operations. Small <p>downloadable file.
Cons
Zero support. Non-intuitive. Help section <p>is awful. It's good for simple operations <p>but it becomes confusing for begineers when <p>trying to do advanced operations. Spent a <p>ton of time with this program before I uninstalled and tried something else.

Pros
This is a great product, especially for the price (only about $50!). I use this all the time. It has a very easy interface, it's simple and yet powerful. Highly reccomended for anyone who wants a great website, flash animation, or music player/video!
Cons
There is one bug I noticed. After you save your project, you can't just double click on the file to open it (it says that the file type can't be recognized). Instead you have to start up the program and open your file from there.
