WIXX has been Northeast Wisconsin's top choice for hit music, local information and entertainment since 1977! Murphy in the Morning has been waking up with listeners for over 20 years, making him a staple Wisconsin radio. Besides playing the hottest music, WIXX's on-air personalities have developed a strong connection with their listeners. Weekday mornings, Katie's sarcasm and Nick's humor complement Murphy during the commute. Otis Day handles middays and is known for his distinct voice, quick humor and interaction with the audience. Whether it's a phone scam, a interesting topic or crazy news story, Jake & Tanner have a high energy, humorous and interactive afternoon drive show that "gets people talking"! The evenings are rounded out with Jason Slade hosting popular interactive features such as the new music "Yah er Noe" segment at 8pm and the long-standing Top 9 at 9.By having a LIVE on-air personality in the studio 24/7 - 365, WIXX has become known as the first source listeners tune to for severe weather, traffic and breaking news stories. The music heard on WIXX is considered "Top 40" and by continually doing research with local listeners, WIXX ensures that their favorite-songs are being played the most - even if those songs don't match the "national charts." WIXX is also Green Bay's home of the Packers Radio Network, airing each Packers game including extensive pre-and-post-game shows. Other Packers programming includes Coach McCarthy's weekly interview during the football season, "Talkin' Football" the morning after each game with Wayne Larrivee and "1-on-1 with the Boys"-a live, interactive show featuring 2 Packers players each Thursday evening during the football season. WIXX also hosts the Packers "official" tailgate party before every home game at Lambeau Field's Tundra Tailgate Zone.
