Color Picker works as advertised

Pros
Renders any point on screen to an HTML code and the RGB code. You are now free to pick your own matching colors.
Cons
Locating the operating file to the drive/file you wish.
Summary
For a "free" tool this works great. Recommended.

Pros
This has got to be the simplest and best. It is so simple you just load it, grab the eye dropper and release it over the color you want and its done. An added feature allows the color values to the changed to fine tune the selected color.
Cons
Just a couple of minor points. Wish you could save the setting 'always on top'. Wish it had a magnifier.
Summary
If all you are after is a basic color picker with no frills then this is for you. The added bonus is that you can fine tune the color values to any color you want. I have tried nearly all the color pickers on cnet but this has got to be the simplest and best. It is so simple you just load it, grab the eye dropper and release it over the color you want and its done. Clearly displayed on the small 60 x 95cm. window are the hex and rgb values. You can even set it to be always on top.

Color Picker is a tool to pick the color from the screen. It will display the color value in HTML format and display the Red, Green and Blue components (RGB) of it. This is a standalone application and no need to install, just download the tool and unzip it to your local folder and start using the tool. Version 1.2 now allows to edit RGB values and adds Win32 color value display type.
