mLights is the keyboard and display backlight manager for Treo 180, Treo 270, Treo 300, Treo 600 and Treo 650 devices from PalmOne. mLights will enable your keyboard backlight to turn on automatically during the night hours, and to stay turned off during the daylight period.

In addition to this, mLights is designed to preserve the Treo battery and extend its lifetime. It does so by keeping the keyboard backlights off during the day, and during the night it dims the screen to lowest possible level and turns the keyboard backlights on.

You can define a time period during which you don't want the keyboard backlights to be turned on. The main purpose of this feature is to increase the battery life and save you from annoying backlights flashing (turning them on and off) during the daylight periods when you don't need the backlights.
