Besides resizing images, iRedSoft Image Resizer can convert them into various formats and make other changes. The program supports eight formats for conversion, including Photoshop and Targa. You can set image quality, resize percentage, image height and width, and resizing method. You can apply these settings to a batch of files or to one file at a time. The biggest drawback is the inconvenient interface, which consists of three windows: one for image names and paths, one for settings, and one for previewing. The preview function in particular would work better as a module on the left or right side of the image window rather than as a separate window. Although the ill-designed operational structure may put off professionals, iRedSoft Image Resizer may suit amateur designers and photo enthusiasts.
