"Real Access to iPhone Files!!"
Version: iExplorer 0.99
Pros
Despite an odd error on first startup, I was up and running and copying my Cycorder Videos via drag and drop to my Win XP computer. Last night i fiddled for days trying to use Touchcopy on my MAC. This program is a lifesaver. Nice work gang!!
Cons
From all appearances, this is purely for file access on the device, it does not translate the iTunes database into useable mp3s. They appear to have software on their site for that purpose at a very reasonable price.
Summary
If you know that this software is what you need, (i.e., getting files, data off device or accessing root system of jailbroken iphone) then do yourself a favor and DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE NOW!! If you want that functionality, they have software on their site for ten bucks which is a great deal.
I have no way to test functionality on other ipods or iphones, and I haven't tested on my macbook pro yet, but it's working great for me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I paid for touchcopy, but much happier with this for pure data transfer and access to iphone file system. So NOTE to standard idiot who might comment "want copy all music from friend's device! this saftware suk" (please note my sarcasm here), THIS PROGRAM IS FOR ACCESSING PURE FILE DATA, NOT "RIPPING" YOUR FRIEND'S IPOD. I know I'm first to comment on this software, so please mark this review "Helpful" because I can see a bunch of ignorant ******* complaining that this software doesn't work and they'll be wrong. Can't wait to try it on MAC.
