dB Organizer Deluxe allows users to create and manage databases with ease. The program contains a lot of features but is easy enough to be used by database novices.

The program's interface isn't particularly attractive and is a bit cluttered at first glance, but it's not difficult to figure out how to get started. dB organizer splits the database into a Table of Contents section and a Details section, showing a list of database entries on one side and detailed information about each one on the other. Users can add or edit information in the Details section and easily move from one entry to the next. A variety of buttons and menus give users access to the program's other functions. A tour of the program's features is available on the publisher's Web site, but comprehensive instructions are located in the 119-page user manual, which comes with the program as a Word document. dB Organizer comes with several templates, but users can also launch a separate database designer to create templates of their own. This is an intuitive process and the new templates are easy to load into the main program for use. The program contains all the features one would expect from a database program, and we were especially impressed with how easy it was to convert a database into a neat HTML file.

dB Organizer Deluxe has a 30-day trial period, which should be ample time for evaluation. The program installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program for any user who needs a simple way to create and manage databases.

And using a helper program called Designer you can easily modify templates included in the package. Web-ready features give you the ability to publish your database to the Web.

Version 3.1 adds new Task List option and improves Print Labels functionality, table field and html field.
