"Not working At All"
Version: Yahoo Historical EOD Data Downloader 2.1
Pros
So far not detected as spyware
Cons
Wasting time installing. The Java process hanged in the memory. Had to manually kill of the Java process before I can delete the installed files.
Summary
Completely a waste of time.

"There's an easier way to get this data for free"
Version: Yahoo Historical EOD Data Downloader 2.1
Pros
Makes getting an ETF easy
Cons
Easier ways to get this data
Summary
If you're after end of day data there are many reputable sites out there that make it extraordinarily simple. My favorite is equalysis.com. Agreed that it does not adjust the data.

"Cheap backup"
Version: Yahoo Historical EOD Data Downloader 2.1
Pros
When nothing else works, this gets an ETF
Cons
Priceless, it sucks but it's good for that one symbol backup
Summary
I read the MLdownloader instruction manual and I was even more confused, paralyzed is more like it, so this program was my backup to get my SPY updated, but I agree it sucks, it apparently doesn't adjust the data, so if you go back far enough, you will drop off into oblivion and so will your accurate performance analysis.
