Eat your heart out, Windows Explorer. This powerhouse file manager beats the pants off Microsoft's built-in utility on almost every count. Start with the interface: Xplorer2 lets you browse two or more folders in one window using panes (as in Total Commander or FAR) and tabs.
You can save several window layouts and quickly switch among them when necessary. Visual filters let you more easily navigate overcrowded directories. Selecting several files is a breeze, since you don't have to hold down the Ctrl key. Xplorer2's tweaks aren't limited to the interface, either. You can rename multiple files at once, split and merge files, synchronize folders, and shred data to prevent recovery.
The program supports NTFS hard links (which are more powerful than shortcuts, allowing you, for instance, to move the source file without breaking a link). An enhanced DOS command line lets you create scripts for processing file batches. All in all, there's a good chance you won't go back to Windows Explorer once you get a look at Xplorer2.

Program for easy handling. Incredibly resourceful and shortcuts. Special mention to the search tool. There are also panels totally intercambiaves. The program incorporates the Windows 7 and other windows programs. It is a great productivity tool, outperforming the Explorer / Windows on multiple counts.
Cons
Price is a bit high and the search for words in files can be improved.
Summary
I have seen several such software, but never with so many resources available. Recommend to the author just create a user profile, including your preferences layout and colors. This profile could be saved and used in other versions of the product.

Easy to install, use and make useable windows Explorer. Used it for several days and found it to be better than Directory Opus, Total Commander and anything else I have tried for years.

Price is bit high

I would buy this software long before I would buy any other software of the type.
Thank for making a product that lives up to ones expectations. I installed it and before you know it I was using all of it's various explorer replacement utilities. -

Pros
Very handy program when copying files between folders or from on drive to another drive. It easily connects the Windows 7 system with the Mac System folder tree. The default icon for file "copy to" or "move to" provides consistent results. Searching for files is much easier than using the Windows default. The software support is very good and always responsive.
Cons
Cannot think of any features that are negative.
Summary
Have the program running on Win-7 and one XP systems. Works great!
