XnView is a fast multi-format graphics browser, viewer, and converter. It can read more than 400 file formats, e.g. GIF, BMP, JPEG, PNG, TARGA, multipage TIFF, camera RAW, JPEG 2000, MPEG, AVI, QuickTime. EXIF and IPTC metadata are also supported. The image viewer has an Explorer-like browser that allows quick and simple browsing of directory contents. XnView supports red eye correction, crops and transforms JPEG images lossless, generates HTML pages and contact sheets, and provides batch conversion and batch renaming. Slide shows with transitions effects, screen capturing, WIA and TWAIN support (scanner and digital cameras), image comparison, and file operations.
What's new in this version: Version 1.99.6 has added deskew automatic and support for Kro (Autopano giga) format read.

"Happy User for Over 15 years"

Pros
Just saw the Adware Scam warning of another reviewer and wanted to add that I have never had such an experience with this program and I have been a user for about 15 years, having installed and used it on several - many different computers in that time, going back as far as Win 95 machines all the way up to Win 8 with never any probelms of any kind. I consider it excellent software.
Cons
None that I have encountered. As a wish list item, wish it handled video editing.

None - it is Scam-ware
Cons
Tried to install Adware (some independent "Coupon" program, and during install made me Opt Out of no less than 4 different browser hijacking options. Had I not read the text clearly and slowly I would have thought that they were Opt-In options, so anyone who clicks through too fast is saying "Sure go ahead and load junk all over my PC." Immediately cancelled install. Do Not Recommend!
