CNET Editors' review
It's hard to find fault with this handy freeware program that brings current weather conditions to your desktop. WeatherMate's straightforward design makes it easy to choose cities from more than 50,000 worldwide locations, and you can add multiple locations to monitor. A system tray icon displays the temperature for your primary city, and you can opt to show a small interface with additional weather information for each of your locations. WeatherMate offer a nice array of choices for details, including current conditions, a seven-day forecast, and even a radar image. You can specify how often WeatherMate updates its information, which comes from the Weather Channel, or use the Update link to immediately refresh the data. Easy to use and chock-full of useful weather information, WeatherMate is a nice option for any user, especially those who wish to track weather conditions in multiple locations.Publisher's Description

Features include: easy-to-use, attractive interface; displays the weather for multiple locations; highly customizable; moves out of the way when not in use; runs in the system tray; contains no adware and no spyware.
What's new in this version: Version 3.4.4 fixed where WeatherMate was unable to display radar images for some European locations due to changes at The Weather Channel. Radar images are now displayed.

Lightweight, small footprint. Gives you the option of running on Windows startup or no. Quick to get weather conditions

The only thing I find I dislike is you have to send it to the system tray to exit, there isn't an option for that on the interface.
