From TPA Software :WavMan is an easy-to-use America Online add-on that's primarily concerned with sending sound files to others while in chat rooms or via e-mail. In addition to providing excellent documentation, it enables you to organize your favorite WAV files and to instantly send any you like as e-mail attachments or to others in the chat room. It also allows you to compose and send faded text (text with a color gradient) to chats and as e-mail. A full-blown IM Manager lets you turn off Instant Messaging, automatically respond to Instant Messages, automatically dismiss chat requests, and more. WavMan also includes an hourglass killer and custom sound notification for individuals listed on your Buddy List.

Pros: Simplicity is what makes it the one to beat.
Cons: That Kevin and company haven't sent me my upgrade information yet. lol
