  alternative to wallpaper changer power toy <p>very small footprint

  you need .net 2.0 installed <p>dosen't state to use one click you need a middle mouse button <p>shorstest switch time is 30 mins I would prefer shorter

  Pros

  None that I could see really.

  Cons

  I installed it, it didn't work. I couldn't add directories to the list, so I had to add individual pictures to the list which was ridiculous and defeats the purpose of the ability to switch between lots of pics. The uninstall DOES NOT WORK. It left files and continued to load when Windows started. <p> <p>This prog. is not worth it. Find another.

  Pros

  On my Mac OSX, I can set the wallpapers to change in a certain time interval I like that very much. I want to have a similar feature on my Windows 2000 PC, I tried out few downloads. None of them come close to the one on the OSX until I found this one. It's pretty close lose but not quite there. <p> <p>Easy to install, easy to use, but make sure you have .Net v2.0 installed on your PC first, then it works nicely.

  Cons

  The minimum time change interval is 30 minutes. I wish it could be set to 1 minute. <p> <p>Transection of pictures is jerky and abrupt. Wish it can fade out the old picture and fade in the new one smoothly, like the one in OSX can do.

  Pros

  Very easy to use and set up.

  Cons

  Had to install .NET Framework 2.0 which is a big download, but not too bad. A few features missing like being able to set individual wallpaper styles. Overall still good though

  Tried to run it and it said that I have to install .NET framework. As this is already installed on my PC that seems a bit weird. I don't see the point of distributing software that doesn't work without the user having to go through a load of troubleshooting. <p>At least the guy isn't trying to rip anyone off by charging. Maybe he'll sort out the teething troubles in the next version.
