Using Fusion WOL (Wake On Lan) you can take advantage of turning on a remote PC throw the net interface. The utilities that this software brings are mainly turning on a remote PC using its IP Address, if it was previously stored at the cache, otherwise you should write the MAC address of the remote PC. You can also check the state of a determinate host by sending a ping package to the desired IP or host. Fusion WOL is freely distributed, and the uses given for it by the users is their entire responsibility. Limitations: due to limitations of WakeUp on LAN, the program works only on machines belonging to the local network. Thus it's impossible to use it on machines connected throw networks like Internet. To be able to turn on a remote PC, it must be turned off softly, instead of pressing the power button for a couple of seconds.
Very simple to actually use, simple GUI an end user could pick up, can switch on and off pcs over a lan like it says, its free, no spyware or any of that junk, neat little program.
Cons
Windows 7 needs a little bit of tinkering to allow this to work, Would be nice if the installer for this configured Windows 7 for it to work. Has some difficulty on server machines also.
Summary
Neat little program for It pros to switch Windows client Operating system computers on and off via the network.
Works well, but needs more features.

Pros
This is a great light weight app that can resolves MAC addresses from Known IP addresses and it can tell you if the target system is on or off. Turning on a system from another location on the LAN works reliably.
Cons
What the program lacks is the ability to save and and recall settings for multiple machines. Also, it would be nice to have the ability to run the app from a command line allowing systems to be powered on from a batch script and / or shortcut.
Summary
Overall, this is program works great and having the ability to tell if a machine has been turned on while not physically at the target machine is a great feature. Another great feature is resolving MAC addresses from a known IP address on the LAN. However, it could use a couple of other additions like command line interface and saved settings for more than one machine where you can associate the Mac Address with a more user friendly name and select the machines from a list.
I does what it's supposed to do, and then some

Pros
In addition to waking a remote PC, it will get its MAC address too
Cons
None to my knowledge
Summary
Partially works
Pros
It basically does what the menu's state it will do. Get MAC, Power On system, etc
Cons
What it didn't do was tell me the computer was ON after I turned it ON. The computer actually came up, but the program said it failed to come up.
Summary
I like the product and will use it, but it disappointed me in that it has the above fallacy.
Does what is says and nothing else.

Pros
Easy to use, Simple!
Cons
Doesn't work every time, Lacks some features
Summary
This has to be one of the most simple applications available on download.com but it works well (usually). Worth the download.
lacks search by pc name and lacks history or saved list

Pros
This software works at the most basic level of turning on a PC.
Cons
I have a number of PCs on the network which i'd like the software to list and maintain. That way I wouldn't have to get the details of each pc, each time I want to wake it up. I also would love to be able to just type a pc name in and have it find the ip address.
Summary
Very usefull, i'm waiting for new release!
