Offering more than 25,000 books, including many famous plays, novels, poetry and reference works, new titles are added to the catalogue regularly. Voluminous also includes a variety of ways to pick out the titles you want: search by title or author instantly, or browse the topic catalogue, based on the Library of Congress classification scheme.

"Semi-worthless"
Version: Voluminous 1.0.7
Pros
It has a good interface and no learning curve to speak of.
Cons
Most of the time what you can download is just a sample of the e-book that they are trying to sell you. If that is good for you then download it and enjoy. It goes straight to the trash on my QuadCore 27" iMac.
Summary
Misleading marketing (is there any other kind ?) as what is available is mostly excerpts.

"Excellent! Complete integration, ver..."
Version: Voluminous 1.0.7
Summary
...Macintosh-like
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
What an excellent software! Beyond comparison with the alternatives. As good as Stanza for iPhone, but much better than both Stanza and eReader (or anything for that matter) for desktop!
Its user interface is, unlike the competitors', very Macintosh-worthy. Voluminous has an integrated literature database (no need to seek it online: just type it in Voluminous and press "enter" - it will immediately fetch the book for you).
This is how I expect an eBook reader for the Mac to look and feel. The developer must consider programming for iPhone as well. My compliments!
