This database-style application lets horse owners record key details about their animals. The program's interface is fairly intuitive to use, but it lacks visual appeal and has an amateurish design. Visual Horse allows you to record information such as a horse's training and performance data, pedigree, and health history.
You also can use it to take stock of your stable inventory and create feeding schedules. Business tools include a finance calculator along with billing, expense, and income tracking. One nice feature is the ability to export reports into Word or Excel. While the templates are useful, the horse screensaver seems like more of a novelty feature for a business program.
The trial version allows you to enter only one horse, with registration fees on a sliding scale. All told, Visual Horse seems like a decent bet for single-horse owners as well as those who manage small to midsized equine businesses.
