Virtual ][ is an application that emulates the Apple ][ computer. Its main purpose is to enjoy, on your Macintosh computer, the nostalgic fun of the Apple ][. The main features are:
- Emulates the Apple ][, Apple ][+ and Apple //e;
- Supports USB game pad or joystick
- Save a machine and resume later on
- Full-screen mode
- Epson FX-80 and ImageWriter II emulation
- Many configurable peripheral cards and devices
- Realistic sound effects, including Mockingboard emulation
- Convert original Apple II diskettes
What's new in this version:
- Fixed an issue that could cause the arrow keys to generate incorrect game paddle values if used in combination with the command key.
- Added a convenience menu in "Quick Settings" to easily invert the direction of the up and down arrows when used as a joystick.
- The Mac OS X Finder now correctly recognizes disk images as Virtual ][ files.
