It comes silently with an install of AIM, and will be reinstalled by AIM if uninstalled. But ViewpointKiller fixes all of that. It takes off Viewpoint Media Player once and for all.

Version: ViewpointKiller 1.30 beta
Pros: It works as claimed. Many programs attempt to remove Viewpoint, but the nasty little thing comes back or is never fully cleansed.
Cons: It does not have a fancy name or Colorful interface with dancing clowns, glowing icons and sound effects. I am sooo disappointed. Clearly these guys don't work for Micromindsoft.
Summary: Get it. Use it. It works!
