Unlike other programs this one has a simple interface but works in a very strange way. It installed fast but when we started it the additional loading of Window Media files took place as well. The number of conversion formats in VideoEdit Converter Gold is minimal, only the most popular ones like AVI, MPEG, and WMV. All the configurations are shown on the main window including frame rate, VBR mode, video and audio bitrate. Each conversion can be previewed before being generated and original file can be deleted after the conversion is over. Moreover, although we installed the program for the first time it said that it is already expired and asked to purchase the full version. However, we failed to close it and had to use the Windows Task Manager for the purpose. Thus the program might be handy but totally unstable.Publisher's description

Version: VideoEdit Converter Gold 1.0
"Program expires when launched the first time! Whoever gave 5 stars is fake!"
Pros: I like how it wasted my time downloading and installing and seeing it's worthless and then uninstalling and then going to download.com so I can stop someone else from having to deal with this b.s.
Cons: The program expires as soon as you launch it the first time! Whoever gave 5 stars is fake!

"Does not even let you open it up"
Pros: There are no "pros" to program that is supposed to be a trial version but in fact is not.
Cons: This was a big mistake. After downloading the nearly 10mb file, it is unable to be used as all as the program is no longer a trial version. You can't even buy it - it keeps reopening the close button. Guess it is CTRL + Alt + Delete only to close it, boys!

Version: VideoEdit Converter Gold 1.0
Cons: Upon downloading this and running for the first time, I was informed that the trial period had somehow expired. Then I was bombarded by an unending stream of pop-up windows to register the thing. I had to cntrl+alt+delete out of it. VERY NICE, DELPHI!

"The program expires as soon as you launch it the first time!"
Pros: I can't describe the pros as I didn't get chance to use the program
Cons: I read the other reviews and decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it. I downloaded it and installed it, so far so good. Launched the program and was faced with a windows box saying that the program had expired and I needed to register it to use it. So much for a 7 day trial! Then as if to add insult to injury I had to shut it down via task manager as it wouldn't respond to any mouse clicks. I tried launching it a second time just to be sure and it did the same again.
I would really take the advice of this and other reviews and just don't bother!

"7-Day Trial? More like 7-Second Trial!"
Summary: What a worthless program. Ran it once, went to help, ran it again and said it had expired. All in a matter of 2 minutes. Don't waste your time.
