• Limited Movie Length Functionality

  Has a nice, easily understood interface. I converted one VOB file to AVI and it converted nicely. The sound was properly synced with the video, the video quality was good and the file size was not overly huge.

  Cons

  Nowhere before downloading does it say that the free version will only convert 74 minutes at a time. That is not enough for a typical full length movie. Even when you go to the website, nothing is mentioned about limited functionality or that buying the "Upgrade" unlocks those limits. For all you know, you could spend $35 and still have limits, which would make it virtually useless.

  Summary

  Virtually useless unless you only convert files an hour or so long. I can understand limiting a free version, but limit what functions are available (special formats, etc.). Don't make it totally unusable and waste my precious time downloading and experimenting with it, just to have to uninstall it. Or at the very least, make it clear there is a limit in the product description. I am extremely disappointed as I thought I finally found the right free program to convert my vob files to avi.

  Pros

  I really like the rich inpput&output formats, and I always choose to support the free version because sharing is the truth of the Internet.

  If it can the online video doanloading function, I think it would be better.

  Pros

  I like its convenience, it is poweful and easy to operate, what's more, I did not find the problem that it is hard to uninstall and the company will reply to your question as soon as possible. In all, it is good.

  Cons

  As a free version, I think it is good, if it add some special effects like mosaic, brightness and old film on it I think it will be better.

  Pros

  none. Tried it, didn't like it, then tried to uninstall it. Had to go long way around, kept getting uninstall error pop up. Hopefully no virus was in the download.

  can't uninstall using normal uninstall program. e-mailed company and heard no response since yesterday.

  Its powerful converting function is just what i like, it is clean and safe, so i can use it freely, what's more, it is very easy to use.
