Developer’s Description

Use 3D characters to chat with your AIM, ICQ, and Jabber buddies.
UNIVerse is a 3D Instant Messenger (IM) utilizing Jabber Technology. Jabber allows interoperability with the major IM protocls; UNIVerse supports AIM/ICQ/Jabber services. UNIVerse's 3D Interface hosts 3D characters that represent online buddies/contacts; the interface is essentially a buddy/contact list. The characters may play out emotions; the emotions are the 3D equivalent of emoticons. To communicate with AOL or ICQ contacts users must login (using the "Existing Users" link from the home page) and register their AOL and ICQ accounts, they may then add buddies one by one from UNIVerse or import their buddy lists from the "Existing Users" link.
