  Pros

  The program is perfect for people with large digital music catalogs. The ID3 tag feature is a godsend because you can run batches, rather than editing them one by one. It may not be instantly intuitive to new users but it doesn't take long to get it.

  Cons

  I can't think of any, except that the excess of features might be too much for some people who don't care to manage their collections on a regular basis. The UI looks a little bit dated, but that shouldn't be anyone's prime want from any program.

  Summary

  The developer updates the software regularly and has obviously spent a lot of time on it. He sidesteps offers of donations which is a shame because this is one of the most powerful programs of its kind and it's a wonder that it's free.

  Pros

  The program is excellent when one has to create a whole lot of tags and the batch utility is a snap.

  Cons

  Nothing really.

  Summary

  I have used this program for years and maybe the reason is that I like the control it gives me. No guessing what I want and then deciding for me (a la MS Windows) which leaves me with tags that I have to clean up manually. But then, I must admit that I am a left-over from DOS days so I prefer manual control. Might take longer, but I know exactly what's going on.

  Pros

  its really vital for my music files as i like to update ID3 tags for my songs and album arts if possible. So i really like it as it does satisfy my needs for these purposes. Kudos to the maker of this software!! :D

  Cons

  cons of wich i can think of might be like...it can be complicated to certain extents and many features i believe are unusable (for me though...so to add) And probably if they made it a bit more stylish it could be better :)

  Extremely powerful tools for keeping your MP3 (or other format) music library in tune and organized. The GodFather is a mandatory addition to my utility library.

  Cons

  The UI is non-intuitive, but once learned it makes its own kind of sense. Not for the faint of heart or those not willing to put some time into the process.

  Pros

  Has all the features you require from a tag editor. The album art lookup is very quick and accurate. The interface at first sight looks perplexing but I would suggest you don't give up. As you explore, this software will become one of your favorites.

  Cons

  The Help files are not very useful. You will need to do a bit of exploring:-)
