Technitium MAC Address Changer allows you to change Media Access Control (MAC) Address of your Network Interface Card (NIC) irrespective to your NIC manufacturer or its driver. It has a very simple user interface and provides ample information regarding each NIC in the machine. Every NIC has a MAC address hard coded in its circuit by the manufacturer. This hard coded MAC address is used by windows drivers to access Ethernet Network (LAN). This tool can set a new MAC address to your NIC, bypassing the original hard coded MAC address. Technitium MAC Address Changer is a must tool in every security professionals tool box.

I recommend downloading directly from their site. Zip should only contain .exe file. Anything else is a virus. Your anti virus might isolate this application or even delete it. Configure your firewall settings to be able to install. Don't turn off firewall. I only had to restore application from isolation on my antivirus.

It made my laptop go crazy Made the fan blow hard Though it showed as active in processes, there was now window for the application. When I tried to "End Process," it was impossible to do so. I had to shut down all programs and reboot.

I don't know whether the program itself is this shitty or whether it's only cnet's copy of it. But it's horrible.

Well after using this for over a year I can't find any really. There was a glitch with some machines running newer than xp/vista ops but that has been addressed. So if you have the older version-update this software.

Works for Win 7 and Win 8, easy to use, nice GUI. With IEEE update Mac Address, and network speed monitor interface. Support IPV6 and can restore to original MAC address

Not thing yet. The bad is there is no bad on this software!

You will love it, and so do I. The only New software not like other stay in 2006 forever, the only freeware not like cost $20 but is 2008 software. The Best choose!

I don't know all the ins and outs of network security, but I do know that your MAC address plays a huge part in it. Having the ability to change your MAC address is a huge part in keeping your computer safe and secure. I tried a few different apps that claimed to do the same thing very easily. I found them all to be cumbersome and irritating at best. This program was a breath pf fresh air. Other apps let you change the MAC address, but leave you to manually type one in every time you want to do so. This program generates one for you and with one click, your done! Bam! Change it as often as you want easily and quickly... Keep those hackers guessing. Download this app, its the one.

The worst fucking thing i have ever laid my eyes on. I was toggling around with it for HOURS!!! And it didn't work! The onyl reason i still messed with it was that it worked once! And i had faith, sadly, i have tried every possible way to make it work again and it never worked. It didn't change my MAC address. It always fucking failed! I even went through the trouble to create an account so I could express my frustration and anger with this peice of shit software
