"Simple and fast IM program, great for small networks."
Version: Tech Instant Messenger 1.3
Pros
Very simple and easy to use program. Supports rich text in messages and user profiles (colors, fonts, etc). No emoticons to bog the program down. It is also very fast, I had the server running and client connected within 2 minutes. I stored the program on the network and anyone can run it from there and be connected in 30 seconds. The author's homepage has the link for the server which is just as easy to use. Aldo, Announcement is a cool feature for an office - it sends out a message to everyone.
Cons
A couple more options such as minimize when clicking X, or groups of contacts would be nice. There are no sounds, and the interface could be more compact. I've had 1 crash so far, but this is Windows we're talking about.
