it downloaded correctly
I did not work. I would direct it to move the tabs on the task bar and hit the update button. The tabs would shimmy a bit as if they were attempting to rearrange, but then they would display in the exact same order they were already in.
I ended up downloading and installing taskArrange.exe. This program has worked flawlessly, and has a much more elegant interface. If you're looking for a free program to rearrange the tabs on your taskbar I would reccommend using TaskArrange.exe instead.
its realy free, it realy can change the order of the widows in the taskbar
It is not easy to use.
In a world that everything is Drag-Drop it is shame to use up and down buuton to arrange the order through an extra window!!!
Great program for anyone that likes to have their taskbar setup a certain way.
This program works on my Vista 64-bit laptop as well as on a Citrix Environment. Haven't tried it yet but I would assume it would even work as a portable application.
Not really that important but you can't see the program in your taskbar so at times you could forget that you are running it if you have a lot of programs open so you could easily open the program more than once without any real notice.
Great tiny little util, does what it's meant to wondefully. I've always wanted something that would do this, who would have thought it actually existed?
This program is exactly what I was looking for, except that it does not work with Litestep :( ( www.gnuwin.org ) If you fix this bug let me know.
Cool tool but lacking in features. Recommend checking out Taskbar Commander. Taskbar Commander not only remembers the order but will make sure that your favorite apps remain in the same place.
Use it once and it is great. Moves those little icons just where you want them. Open it again and it forgot that you had already moved the icons, now you have to doit again for all of them. It forgets the settings that it set.
This is exactly the tool I was looking for. I have to agree, though, that it needs to respect the order of the current applications listed. Still - Cool app!
Great product, I have been looking so something like this for years.
Great program, but something is really missing. Startup order. When you start the program, it won't respect the current taskbar order. You must re-order everything the way they are.
