For quick calculations, this free utility proves to be crude yet handy. Taskbar Calculator does exactly what its name suggests; it loads a little calculator in your taskbar. You can perform basic mathematical operations without blocking the screen. This tiny operative is accessible through the system-tray context menu and sits out of the way until you exit it. You won't find anything fancy here, but users will appreciate its simple convenience.Publisher's description
From Marco Maroni :It's a simple mathematical calculator, but with a useful peculiarity: it is positioned on the taskbar, that area of the desktop where the list of the open programs appears (generally on the bottom of the screen), so that it doesn't cover the opened programs, making the calculation more practical. It supply basic mathematical functions: sum, multiplication, division, subtraction, percentage, square root. Version 1.5.3 improved setup.

Version: Taskbar Calculator 1.5.3
Pros: Handy for quick calculations, beats opening windows calc for sure
Cons: Takes up too much space (which probably cant be helped) and doesnt have more advanced functions.

Version: Taskbar Calculator 1.5.3
Pros: Good idea... right in the taskbar. Very convenient and unobtrusive.
Cons: Does not calculate with precision. I made some calculations and noticed it made errors because it does not calculate with many decimals, yielding incorrect results, especialy when converting or calculating back and forth between different units.

Version: Taskbar Calculator 1.5.3
Pros: Works great! I love it. I often have to calculate something and this is a real nice short-cut to reaching for the calculator or opening Excel.
Cons: No Cons. But, maybe future versions could have more calcuation options. Not a complaint, just a suggestions.

Version: Taskbar Calculator 1.5.3
"Does exactly what it says - great!!!"
Pros: I often need to make small calculations and don't like having to open up the calculator that's bundled with Windows every time. Nor do I like opening it once and keeping it open since then I lose it behind other windows. I wanted something small and easily accessible that I could leave open all the time, and this does exactly that.
Cons: This calculator is just an empty box that sits in your taskbar and performs basic calculations, so it's not a good product if you're looking for scientific functions or something that looks like an actual calculator.
